A probe revealed that the dead animals were laced with poison to kill feral dogs, which kill goats and calves. Conservation experts said that in the vicious cycle of killing feral dogs ends up in killing vultures, carbofuran pesticide, extensively used in paddy, has been found to be the killer chemical.
