Voting begins in northeast amid boycott call in eastern Nagaland
Voting in northeastern states for the first phase saw over 1.6 crore voters. Long queues formed in Assam despite rain in Manipur. Security measures were in place for Assam LS seats. Ranjit Dutta voted first, while ENPO enforced a Nagaland shutdown.
