Unopposed candidate is automatically declared winner: CEO
CEO P Bharathi clarified the rule that a single candidate in a constituency wins without a poll. The winner is declared as per Section 53, Form 21 or 21-B. In Surat Lok Sabha, Mukesh Dalal of BJP remains the only candidate.
