Gauhati HC relief for Himanta Sarma in 2019 model code case
Gauhati High Court on Wednesday stayed the proceedings of the court of chief judicial magistrate of Kamrup (Metro), which had summoned chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to appear on March 21 in a case filed by the state election department relating to violation of model code of conduct by him.
