‘Fake’ encounters: HC seeks affidavits from DGP, rights panel in 4 weeks
Gauhati High Court, while hearing a PIL alleging orchestrated police encounters in the state since May last year, on Friday directed the director general of police, National Human Rights Commission and the State Human Rights Commission to file affidavits within four weeks.
