Centre reduces areas under AFSPA in 3 northeast states
Citing ‘improved security situation’, the Centre on Thursday ordered withdrawal of the disturbed area tag under the Armed Forces Special Forces Act of 1958 partially from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland from midnight.
