Ban on extraction of ground water by pvt suppliers lifted
The Kamrup (Metro) district administration on Thursday put on hold its order banning extraction of ground water by private water suppliers on whom almost 70% of the city’s three lakh households depend on for their daily needs after it found itself in a tight spot for the hasty decision.
