Assam & Meghalaya ink pact to settle 50-year-old border row
Assam and Meghalaya on Tuesday signed an agreement that settles their over 50-year-old dispute in six of the 12 areas of differences along the 884-km border in the presence of Union home minister Amit Shah, who called it a “historic day” for the northeast.
