Ahead of municipal polls, Guwahati gets flooded after downpour
A spell of heavy rainfall coupled with clogged drains resulted into an artificial flood in large parts of the city on Wednesday morning, hours before campaigning ended for the Guwahati Municipal Corporation election, scheduled on Friday.
